Your Questions About Really Make Money Online Yahoo Answers

Helen asks…

Is there any way I can make some good money online?

I’m trying to make some extra money. I’m 14 so I can only make some money doing errands around. I know it is possible to make money online, I have done some reserach but all I could find is programs that I got to buy to make money. I know there are a lot of scams out there so I decided to ask real people for real answers on Yahoo answers. With school out during the summer I really want to make some extra money. Thanks for your answers

sivron01 answers:

I know of two ways :

1.If you are from the U.S this is a good way to make money. This site lets you receive cash for Survey offers. You sign up and get paid for giving for filling out surveys and pays around $5 to $10 per survey. The site is http://money.videowhack.com

2.Open to all ,This is a lot of fun actually if you like music,You can get paid to review music,3pence per track and you have to listen to a track for a minute. As you improve and if you write meaningful reviews you’ll get 5p,7p,9p,12p per track etc.
You’ll easily increase your pay leaving meaningful reviews. The site is http://slicethepie.com .Also read the forums for more info.Pays in pounds(sterling) to paypal.
Both sites are free to join, just give it a shot and see what happens.

Carol asks…

some one told me about the “CLICK BANK ” company on yahoo answers as one that can help me make money online through internet traffic……is it really a legitimate company??here is their website

sivron01 answers:

ClickBank.com is a legitimate company but some of the products sold on it or related to it are more than doubtful.

Http://solutions.my-ai.com/how-can-i-identify-if-an-offer-is-a-scam/ gives pretty good guidelines to help you identify scams.

Ruth asks…

Make extra money online?

I am a college student who is seriously running out of money, and I am considering turning to the internet in order to make a little extra cash.

I have done some research on online jobs, but I really don’t know where to start. It seems to me like there are tons of possible opportunities to work for companies online, as well as tons of chances to get ripped off. I am not looking to make $100,000 a year and to work at home for the rest of my life, I am just trying to make some more money so I can finish up my college degree. That is why ask you, Yahoo answers crowd. Please help me out by pointing me in the right direction!

I would greatly appreciate links, reviews, company names, and personal experiences.

sivron01 answers:

I do not know of any actual “job” jobs, but if you’re a decent writer and don’t mind freelance, you might check out www.associatedcontent.com or www.reviewstream.com

Associated Content is for articles, average pay for beginners is $3 an article, but the better you are, the more you make. I made $40 in about two months just writing a few times a week after class. It’s reputable, but you’ll need a PayPal account. You don’t pay them anything to join. They do not typically buy creative writing, reviews, or opinion pieces, so go read the work of some contributors to get a feel for what sells before you start.

Review Stream I like a little less, but money is money. They buy product reviews. Be sure to read the length requirements before you begin. A good review will sell for $2.50, an “Eh” one or one that is too short will sell for 50 cents. One reason I don’t care for it is that, unlike AC, they will not credit you until you make $50, which could take a day or a month, depending on how fast you type. The people who run it can also be a little rude, so you’ll need a tough skin. Also, save a copy of EVERYTHING until it gets accepted. Other users review, so sometimes you’ll get a jerk and you don’t want to start over from scratch.

Hope this helps. I swear neither of these are scams. There are a lot of crappy sites out there, so make sure you check on ANY site before you give them any personal information.

Best of luck!

Your Questions About How To Make Money Online Without Paying Anything

Donna asks…

Why do the work at home or online ads sell you softwares and stuff, but actually they rip you off?

I looked at Project payday and noticed again… another site tring to sell stuff claiming to help you earn money. Is there anything like that that actually will tell you how to earn money, WITHOUT ordering something or paying for something, like software?

I’ll tell you a little story of what happened, I thought it would work of course, but I only tried it once and then stopped trusting these sites. I went onto www.googleincome.com(TOTAL RIP OFF…), and I purchased a CD online that said about learning how to do a marketing business online from home, supposibly to earn a six figure income. So…, I get the CD within about a week, and started to listen to it, the entire CD just talked about everything, BUT how you supposed to make the money! Complete waist of time. Not once, has it mentioned anything of how to it works. Anyway, from the time I bought the CD, BY bank account went overdrawn like eight times for the amount of $34.99 each, when they say only one payment of $34.99, but then I looked at the next page of there website, and in the fine print it said that they charge an additional $35.00 every month as a membership fee. I only had it for two weeks, and it also said you can mail the CD back and get a refund, so I did. I never got a refund though. HMMM! And get this, I tried to track them down with the mailing address sent w/ the CD, and that address doesn’t even exist!
Then my bank account at CapitalOne was overdrawn by $250 in bank fees and that CD fee, and the bank would not help me at all in getting the money back, instead I was there and I was angry, In fact I was very angry, b/c I almost started arguing, w/ the bank, and they threatened to call police b/c of their crap. Can you believe this?! They tried to get me in trouble instead of helping me get a refund on those fees, and I ended up closing the account so the transactions would stop. From then I have second thoughts weather or not to look at these things b/c I feel that they are all scams and ripp offs.

Isn’t there something we can do to keep these from happening to others? How does eveyone else claim they have made millions, nice cars, big houses and stuff? What did they do?

sivron01 answers:

I’m really sorry you had such a problem, but you must admit that if you had read what you were agreeing to before you signed up instead of after, the problem would have never existed. It clearly stated that it was a subscription, because I have turned down that offer many times.

On the other hand, I have made hundreds of dollars from similar programs. My brightest discovery was when I found one program that once I completed enough offers to earn one credit, I turned on a stream of $40 payments that keep coming without me doing any more offers.

So you see, there’s two sides to every story.

93.9 fm commercial i missed?

Hi i live in ohio, and heard a commercial i believe it was on 93.9 one night, and they were talking about a company that you can sell there products online even while you sleep and make money, and there was no start up fees or anything.I didnt catch the # really all i thought i heard was internet speed so im not sure what or how to get ahold of that company now,is there any sites out there that anyone knows of that you can sell products online without havin to pay any $ to start?and will actually be worth the time to go through it?

sivron01 answers:

I must say that first of all, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

Secondly, it sounds like a scam because you simply cannot make money without effort. It’s easy to say your products will sell while you sleep because the internet is of course, 24/7. Most of those companies generally want an upfront amount of money, or make you sign a contract guaranteeing THEM a certain amount of money from you … Whether you make money or not.

If you still think it’s worth looking into, try going online to the radio’s website and looking there.

Richard asks…

Parents, does this sound like a convincing argument?

(Also, I am a high honor roll student with a 3.7 GPA) (Everything in parenthesis is to you, it is not included in the letter)

I know this sounds crazy, and it is crazy, it’s ridiculous! But I really want to take up ballet again. I know we don’t have a lot of money right now and you’ll probably say no, but I had to try. I’ve been obsessing over this! I don’t know how much it costs (I couldn’t find it online) but I’d do my chores without pay and that’d be 40 dollars a month! And you wouldn’t pay me for making the high honor roll or anything (they pay me for every A I have) and I wouldn’t join any plays this year (each play is about 30 dollars). I promise I’d try my best to keep my good grades and I’ll do community service at the animal shelter every week (I need to anyway, to get the scholarship I’m working towards). I wouldn’t go out to eat with you guys, that’s 10 or more dollars each time. Maybe all of that would add up to be enough. I’m really serious about this, I won’t go on my senior chorus trip (about $200) and my junior trip is already paid for. I think this will show how responsible I am, I am almost 16, I’m willing to give up many things for something I believe is truly worth it. Please, please, please! I feel I have made a sufficient case and, now that you have read all the way through, you should make your decision.

sivron01 answers:

If I were your Mother I’d tell you yes immediately. Not because you offered to let your allowance and rewards go. Not because you said you won’t go out to eat anymore. But because you said that you would stay on the honor roll, continue to be responsible at home and make some sacrifices like your senior trip to go to ballet.

Sit down and talk to them about this and show them what you’re willing to give up to take ballet. If your parents can’t quite afford it, check the studios in your area. Some of them offer discounts or even scholarships.

I’m sure your parents would still take you out to eat :D

Mandy asks…

25 YRS OLD, midlife crisis, dilemmas, help me make my decisions? to find a ‘real’ job or stick to your dreams?

Help me plan my 2009

Sorry this is long, ignore my grammar mistakes as I type in a hurry:

Hi, I am 25 years old, I just graduated in the Summer 2008 with a degree in Science- Cell Biology, I do not think I want to work in a 9-5 job or at a laboratory or anything related in my field as I don’t have any real interest at all. Not to mention I went through school without really paying attention to anything, basically just finishing up courses to get over with it.

Over these few years, I have a keen interest in becoming an entrepreneur, for the last couple years and still currently, I have made a steady income of 3-7k a month from my own online business that I started, however, it is not a ‘real’ business as it is not registered or file any income/taxes purposes. I currently have saved up $100,000 and i put everything into diversified stocks which also yields another 700$ a month from interests/dividends.

Anyways, because of the income I am getting right now, I have not been motivated at all to find a “real” job, because in my mind, getting a real job does not make me more money as I am doing now plus I have to be constrained to the 9-5 with no freedom and I may not enjoy it.

I do enjoy what I am doing now, but feel guilty from time to time as my “Asian” parents want me to get a “real” job so they can tell people what i do for a living. And they keep telling me, what I do right now is not sustainable, plus how am I to get a mortgage in the future, or if I stay out of the field long it will be hard for me to get in when I do decide to find a job, etc etc..

Sometimes I feel sad I cant tell anyone what i do, and most people think i am lazy and ask me why I don’t have a job yet, as if i tell them what i do, they wont understand.

I do also have other goals I want to reach, for 2009, I am planning to do a 4-month focus on workingout/bodybuilding as I have been doing for past few years but not getting serious until now. I want to maybe someday get big enough to start my own gym? or maybe become a personal trainer? obviously, these dreams are far fetched at this stage and will take large amount of time and dedication which I am willing to put up with as I do have lots of time right now to focus on my goals.

So now the question is, what should I do?

I can look for a real job in my field and hope I enjoy it, or stick to what I am doing now, make good money have lots of freedom but in return I gain no respect or merit, and at the same time, hopefully achieve my other goals, and maybe in the future, that will lead to something better, something I always dreamed of doing?

sivron01 answers:

I’m getting into the online business and I have to say, being a web developer, it’s probably the best way to make money these days.

Your making 3-7 grand a month from the internet/home business? Sounds like you are doing REALLY well, I would kill to make that kind of money a month from home. You should put all your focus and time into your successful business, don’t let your parents tell you what to do, your 25! Turn your business into a legitimate thing and beings you are making so much, you should be able to start paying your taxes. I know it sucks, but when you make that much, it’s not a good idea to dodge the system.

Laura asks…

How do I model without getting an agent?

Okay, so, I don’t want to be a big model. I don’t want to walk a runway or anything. I just want to make money, kind of like taking pictures for something if you know what I mean?
When I was younger I had a friend who’s Dad was a photographer and I modeled for a math book that’s in texas, I kinda want to do that? How do I do stuff like that with out having to get a model agent and all that? I don’t want it to be a big thing, just like one or two times because they pay a lot, right? What do you think?

Oh, and by the way. I’m not very tall, only like 5″2′, but I’m online a teenager. Does that matter?
don’t fight over the question. fight over pmmm (;
if there even is pm on this? i have no clue how to use yahoo answers.

Your Questions About Make Money Online At No Cost To Me

Maria asks…

How can I work from home with little or no cost?

I am a single pregnant mother with no job. I am 7 months pregnant and I got laid off when I was 4 months pregnant. I am getting unemployment but it just isnt enough even with child support. I was looking to work online with no risk or if someone has actually work from home and has gotten some real money. I would love to be able to stay at home with the baby and still make money or afford to send the kids to daycare while I work at home or something. If someone has had experience in this field and it has been a success for them PLEASE let me know. I’m also trying to go back to school.

sivron01 answers:

The only real way to work from home and guarantee some actual money without having to fork over “starting costs” is to work as a professional of some kind. For instance, medical billing and coding can be done from home. Many technology jobs can be done from home. You’d be working for an actual local company, but just able to do your work from home rather than a desk in their office. You’d need a college education for that. So my recommendation is to take advantage of this time and go back to school. There are plenty of online courses that you could look into.

Joseph asks…

What business idea should I pick?

Im 13. I want to start an online business over the summer. My goal is to eventually make six or more figures a year. I know that sounds crazy since im only 13, but its my ultimate goal. I have a few ideas for a business, but I’m not sure which ones are profitable, and which one I should do.

1. A website where users can submit original songs and other users can listen, rate, comment, share, and chat with other users. There will also be a page where users can keep track of their favorite songs, post info, and find new band members with the band member finder. I would make money from the site by selling ad space, and if the site gets really big, i could create a free and pro level membership (pro costs money). Pro members would get extra features. The problem is, since i have no coding or programming experience, I would have to hire a web design firm. A site like this, though, could cost tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars, which I don’t have! My other options are hire a coder/designer/programmer from elance for a nice price, or hire my cousin who is at RIT for web design and programming. I think this idea could be profitable. There is not really competition execpt for www.purevolume.com I like this idea a lot!

2. A website where I would sell musical instruments. I would buy the instruments from a wholesale/dropship company and when i get an order, i give the order to the company who will send the item to the customer. I would buy them wholesale and sell them for profit. I, however, think this business is bad since i would be competing with guitar center, sam ash, www.musiciansfriend.com, amazon, ebay, and more.

3. There is a website called www.remote-backup.com. They provide people options to start their own business providing online backup services. They sell you a license to sell their software for $750 and you re sell the software on your site. You could charge a customer $25 a month for 10 gb of storage, and you would make some profit. Many people lose data everyday from viruses, hard drive crashes, theft, etc. This business would provide a solution. But, some huge competitors are mozy and snapfish and verizon’s new storage service. This could end up costing me 750 for nothing in return.

4. A website where a user can start/create a debate on two topics such as mcdonalds vs burger king. Other users can join the debate by posting arguments under the side they think is better. Example, if i like mcdonalds better then burger king, i post my reasons under the mcdonalds column for why i think it is better. This site could be usefull for many people such as shoppers who want to know what brand they should buy. I would sell ad space for this site.

5. I was reading Small Business Opportunities SBO Magazine, and they had a huge article on a new business opportunity. It is a company called www.resellerdynamics.com. They have a software that lets customers create their own website. They custom brand the software and give you liscense to resell the software for only $999. Once you pay you get a resellers liscense to sell the software, a custom website/hostin/and domain to promote the software to potential customers. You could charge $30 a month for the software and resllerdynamics only takes $10 for server stuff. thats $20 profit a month per customer. If you have 400 customers paying you $20 bucks a month, thats around $100,000 a year! This company is not a scam or pyramid scheme since I called the local BBB Better Business Beraue of the location, and they say the company has good reputations. I like this idea a lot since small business are looking for cheap ways to get a nice website up and running.

6. This last idea is one of my favorites. It would be a website/marketplace where people could buy/trade/sell/auction websites. The user could post a picture of the website, post info, and chose to either sell the site for a flat price, or start an auction for the site by placing a base price. There are already some sites that do this, but they are not that good function wise. www.sitepoint.com does have a feature where you could buy and sell websites, but that is not their main focus. I would make money from selling ad space, and charging the poster a small fee once a sale has been completed. I would hire my cousin to create this site, since it would not be hard to create since many auction and marketplace scripts are out their.

Which ideas do you think are most profitable? Which idea should I do? I love the music sharing site, website reseller, and the website marketplace idea (which is my favorite).

Even if you think none of these are profitable, what would you pick if you had to choose?

Thanks!

sivron01 answers:

I’m so impressed that you are only thirteen and already have done such extensive research regarding business ventures. In my opinion, the first option you listed seems unique. Which is good. I would encourage you not to let the cost of web design to discourage you. After all anything that has ever been done has been written in a book.

Consider learning computer programming as a hobby. Research the ideal platform for your website and go from there. One book at a time.

Discuss your plans with your parents. Ask them to buy the book for you. If that is not an option, consider going to the library and checking out programming books. The only problem with this option is the fact that you will need to keep checking out the same book in order to complete the activities.

There are plenty of other business ideas that you may not have considered. Read the articles listed below to get some more ideas.

sivron01 answers:

Lol You are too cute.
First of all, you shouldn’t be worried about impressing a chick. If she likes you, she will like you for YOU. She won’t care about the clothes on your back and whatever else. So don’t stress over that! And why don’t you narrow down your choices? And once you find which on you are really into, go for her. Be confident! And just talk to her. If she is into you, she will like you for yourself and not give a care in the world about anything else. Also the money situation, I feel you on that. I am 17 and I can’t find a job. I have been looking since I was 16 and still nothing. The economy is messed up right now so anyone would be lucky to find a job! So just be patient and keep trying to look. I know things get hard sometimes. Trust me, a lot of us don’t have it easy. But just work hard at what you want and don’t give up. It is going to take hard work. Nothing comes FREE. That is something you have to remmeber in life. NOTHING IS FREE. There is always a price on something. But just keep working at it. I hope everything goes well though.

Good Luck! :)

How much money do cell phone companies charge as a security deposit?

I just graduated high school and have no credit. I am now looking at getting my own cell phone plan and it said online that I would need to put down a deposit. How much does that usually cost? I am going through AT&T, if it makes a difference..

sivron01 answers:

While I was shopping for a cell phone, I found that AT&T and Verizon wanted the most money. One wanted $300 and one wanted $500. I believe it was AT&T that wanted the $500. I ended up going with Sprint. They only wanted $150.00

Ken asks…

What would you do if your marriage was this way?

Ok so here is what is going on, I am married and have been married now for about 6years. My husband is being very weird not that he is cheating but he is selfish and he blames a lot of what happens to him on me, He had got a DWI and he said it was my fault cause I got him mad and he went to go drink. He says that when we have problems that he always gets bad luck or in other words bad things start happening to him. Anyways well I do not work and never ask him for money and he gets mad when I took out 80 dollars from his bank account and he has about 8500 in the bank, to get the kids clothes? Was that wrong of me? I mean we are together and he tells me that he gets mad at me cause I do not make money and he pays all the bills and I am guessing I need to make money for myself but do not take money from him to go out by myself. He seems to be money hungry to me and then also he has a son.. which is from his other marriage is it my responsibility to take care of this little boy when he comes over? He throws him to the side and the little boy wants nothing to do with him Everytime that he comes over he gets thrown on me and I have 2 of my own and he starts fighting with my 2 kids 4 and 5 and he picks on them as well anyways now the Exwife wants to take the sons rights away and he blamed me cause couldn’t take care of him and I was always having problems with him? WTF he is so irresponsible and blames his faults on others, Am I in the wrong I spend days crying wondering if Marriage is really this way. I clean take care of the kids, make food and make some money online (ebay) and I dont bitch, and take care of his son when he comes over.
Ok about his son, Well I treat him as my own take him everywhere I go buy him everything I get my kids he is one of my own but This was a only child up until when his ex had her daughter.. and he felt the impact and how she supposbly treated her daughter and bought her daughter everything and told him that she was only going to buy him stuff when his dad gave her money which he gives her monthly child support. He needed shoes cause his had holes and he needed clothes and they were all old faded and torn I went out and spent 200 dollars on clothes, and well he has his moments he runs jumps on my couches, he runs in the grocery stores, He steals from my husbands wallet, and he crys when he doesnt get his way. HE IS 11!! and this takes a toll on me cause monkey see monkey do. My kids arent used to this behavior, and I tell his father (my hubby) and he does nothing to disapline. I take all the responsbility and I have to talk to the ex and deal with her cause my hubby nothing to do with it

sivron01 answers:

From what you have said, you’re doing the best that you can. He has NO right to blame HIS mistakes on you. That is extremely childish. He’s not a very good father either… It’s not fair of him to shove those responsibilities over onto you. He needs to spend time with his son. This is ridiculous. You should tell him that if he wants to save his marriage he has to go to counseling with you. He needs to learn a few things.

websites you can actually make money on?

sivron01 answers:

All online jobs are a scam and any sites asking you to pay to join to make money are scams. However it is possible to make money online without spending any money. It won’t make you rich and it is not a job, but generally the more you do online and the more time you spend online the more you can make.

The main way many people make money online is through their own website or web pages. Of course, if you’ve no clue how to make a website that is not the best option, but there are still other options.

Sell items online: http://www.squidoo.com/ebay-site

Write articles: http://www.squidoo.com/writing-a-lens

Write reviews: http://www.squidoo.com/ciaosite and http://www.squidoo.com/dooyoosite

Do surveys: http://www.squidoo.com/points2shop-cashle-site
My proof that it works: http://www.squidoo.com/points2shop-proof-page

Use a Google powered search engine, play games watch videos and more: http://www.squidoo.com/swagbucks-site

Complete one offer and invite friends to the site: http://www.squidoo.com/freebiejeebies-is-real

Social networking (like facebook, myspace etc, only you get paid): http://www.squidoo.com/sideticknetworking

All these sites are 100% free to join and use! Some even give you a bonus just for joining. How they work is by advertisers paying them for advertising their product/services and the sites all give a percentage of that money to you.

There are of course many other websites; some good and some scams. So to make sure you don’t get scammed check out this site, http://www.squidoo.com/avoid-the-scams.

Michael asks…

Make money for souvenirs and shopping?

I’m planning on going shopping with my friends this summer and bringing back souvenirs from vacations, but I don’t have any money. I don’t live in an actual “neighborhood” so I can’t walk people’s dogs or mow lawns for money. I’m 14 and I would love to tutor some kids in French or other subjects but I’m not sure how much to charge per hour…and I’m not much of a “little kid” person, so babysitting would be kind of hard for me.

How much per hour should I charge for tutoring per child?

Any other ideas about making money? Thank youuuu! Please don’t request online scams. Greatly appreciated!

sivron01 answers:

If you are really good at the subject you are tutoring in min is $12-$15/hour If you are tutoring at a high level and or an advanced class then it should be closer to 20/hour

how can i make fast money online without a investment??

sivron01 answers:

Affiliate Programs let you sell other people’s products by promoting them online. You don’t have to purchase inventory, just mention their products to people who might be interested in purchasing them.

Like this guy above me who is promoting someone else’s product… If you buy the product at the other end of that link, this guy makes money!
